The T cluster is predominantly New Testament. Thomas (Aramaic Toma, "twin") was one of the twelve apostles, called Didymus in Greek (also "twin"), best known for his doubt and subsequent confession of the risen Jesus as "my Lord and my God" in John 20:24 to 29.

Timothy (Greek Timotheos, "honoring God"), the young pastor of mixed Greek and Jewish parentage whom Paul called his son in the faith. Two of Paul's letters bear Timothy's name as their addressee, and the broader Acts narrative shows him traveling with Paul through Asia Minor and Greece. Titus (Latin Titus) was another of Paul's missionary companions, sent to Crete to organize the church there and the addressee of the third of the Pastoral Epistles.

Tabitha (Aramaic Tabitha, "gazelle"; called Dorcas in Greek with the same meaning) was the Joppa disciple raised from the dead by Peter in Acts 9:36 to 42. She is described as "full of good works and almsdeeds," and her name appears in the catalog as one of the lesser-known New Testament women whose substantive role gave the name a long Christian-tradition afterlife.
